What is domain transfer and how does it work?

Domain transfer is the transfer of the domain name service (domain) from one company to another. This operation does not affect in any way the functioning of the domain, it takes place completely invisibly for the functioning of the website and mail. After a successful transfer the fees for domain maintenance should be directed to a new registrar.

Remember that after the domain transfer is complete, it will still point to the same DNS servers that were set up before the transfer began.

To initiate a domain transfer you must have an AuthInfo/AuthCode/Transfer Tag code (protection against unauthorized initiation of domain transfer). You will obtain the authorization code from your current registrar.
