E-assignment is an electronic instruction to change the subscriber of an Internet domain. In Webmity, it takes place automatically after initiating an operation on a domain to which you have rights (in the Domain module). Each e-assignment must be confirmed by clicking a link in the email.

Changing the owner of a domain means getting rid of all property rights to the operated domain, so please make your decisions carefully.

In order to perform an e-assignment, both user accounts (the one transferring the domain and the one taking over the domain) must have at least one ‘Domain data profile’ set up to handle the e-assignment.
