Domain e-mail aliases – how does it work?

An e-mail alias is an alternative address pointing to an existing mailbox. Messages sent to the created email alias on your domain as well as your primary mailbox address will appear in one inbox of your mailbox. An alias is a one-way facility. This means that you cannot use it to log into the mailbox or send emails from it.

Structure of an e-mail alias
any-name-without-spaces @ domain . com
example: john-doe@domain.com can redirects e-mails to myprivateemail@gmail.com.

How to use it?

A website allows you to present your offer and direct its message to a potential customer. Does a business card on the Internet, which does not allow for return contact, make any sense? No! It is basically useless!

Webmity is equipped with a system of aliases, thanks to which customers can freely contact you from any domain created in the system, whether it’s to learn more about your offer, technical consultations or simply to get in touch. Always stay in touch with your potential customers online.

Separate email aliases to group customer inquiries from multiple advertising sites. Remember that a page that has clearly presented contact information not only looks credible, but also means much more in the eyes of a search engine than a page artificially filled with content.

Summary

  • Multiple email addresses and one inbox,
  • The destination address is not visible to the sender, so web robots will not add it to spam mailing lists,
  • Full control over inquiry routing.
